NPHHI’s current focus is on research and educational activities that support quality and performance improvement. This includes:

• Tracking the landscape of quality measurement and patient safety at the national level.

• Developing educational programs and expert information for NAPH members.

• Representing the safety net perspective in the development and adoption of quality measures on the National Quality Forum and the Hospital Quality Alliance.

• Securing resources for NAPH members to participate in national quality and patient safety training programs.
